Children do not come to the clinic alone: they bring parents and guardians, siblings and other relatives and sometimes even friends. We invite each patient’s caregivers to participate in the Open Studio program, to help reduce their anxiety and provide new avenues for understanding and support.
We are very excited to announce an International Art Exchange for 2007-08. We are inviting patients and siblings from all the Tracy’s Kids Programs and those being treated at hospitals in the Middle East Cancer Consortium (MECC) to submit artwork for an international exhibit to premier in May 2008 at the Lombardi Center. The show will include work by young people in Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey—and maybe other MECC member countries—and the United States. We will create a copy of the show for each participating country. Our goal is for every participating hospital to host the full exhibit. We also plan to create a gallery on this website for the show, so stay tuned!

“After an unhappy experience at another medical center we found Tracy 's Kids. Since Lizzie has been in their care she has enjoyed the staff, other patients and the surroundings so much that she actually looks forward to her visits there.”Grandmother of 10-year-old Lizzie.
